For Hong Kong law firms

Draft a solicitor's bill in minutes, not evenings.

Record your fee earners' time, and ProxiLegal assembles the itemised bill and the taxation Bill of Costs, formatted the way the court and your clients expect. Counsel fees and disbursements stay alongside the bill for review.

English & 書面語 · Bill of Costs for taxation · Your whole firm, one login

Auto · by fee-earner grade

What it does

Six modules, one practice record.

Proxi Client sits at the centre · Bill, Invoice, Taxation, Timesheet and Case all work from the same client and case record, so nothing gets keyed in twice.

Proxi Client

Every client, case and contact recorded once · the record that Bill, Invoice, Taxation, Timesheet and Case all track back to.

Proxi Bill

Issue itemised bills and fee notes to your clients, priced by fee-earner grade and written up in proper billing narrative, automatically.

SPASTSLE

Proxi Invoice

Vendors submit their invoices through their own portal login · you approve them, before anything touches your accounts. Not a client fee note.

Proxi Taxation

Generate a staged Bill of Costs modelled on the Judiciary's Leaflet 11 · Sections A to C, work tally, counsel fees and a Claimed / Allowed summary.

Proxi Timesheet

Log each fee earner's time against a case · minutes become WIP, and WIP becomes the next bill, with nothing re-typed.

Proxi Case

Deadlines, documents, stamp duty and completion, tracked against the case · the file that sits behind every bill.

How it works

Three steps, start to signed bill.

No installs, no spreadsheets. It runs in your browser.

Record time

Add your clients and cases, then log each piece of work: fee earner, category, date and minutes.

Generate

Produce an itemised client bill, or a taxation Bill of Costs, priced and worded for you · counsel fees pulled in.

Export

Export a print-ready PDF, or a Word file your accounts team can send out.

Pricing

One plan. Sized to your firm.

Common questions

Answers before you ask.

Where is our data stored, and who can see it?+
Each firm's data is isolated at the database level, so only the colleagues you invite can open your files · a firm can never see another firm's clients or cases. It's hosted on Supabase in the Singapore region, closest to Hong Kong.
How does Proxi Invoice (the vendor portal) work?+
From inside a case you invite counsel (chambers) or a vendor by email. They get their own login and can only see the case you invited them to · never your client files. They submit their invoice, your firm reviews it, and once approved it flows into your disbursements and the Bill of Costs. It's an inbound vendor invoice, not a client fee note. External parties are free · they don't pay.
Does it produce a taxation Bill of Costs?+
Yes, with Proxi Taxation. From the same case you can generate a staged Bill of Costs modelled on the Judiciary's Leaflet 11 · Sections A to C, a work tally, counsel and disbursements, and a Claimed / Allowed summary. Approved counsel fees are pulled into Section B.1 for you.
How are we charged?+
One subscription covers the core workspace. Choose capacity for 1, 5, 10 or 20 fee earners. Support logins are counted separately. Price and login allowance will be confirmed before activation. See Pricing.
Can nobody bill under a name that isn't ours?+
Correct. You register your fee earners once, and every time entry and bill can only use a name from that roster · so a bill can never carry a fee earner your firm hasn't declared. When someone leaves you archive them, and their past bills keep their name unchanged.
English only?+
The interface is in English and 書面語 (formal written Chinese), and bills can be produced in either. The court documents themselves stay in English, as taxation expects.
Can my whole firm use it?+
Yes. Invite colleagues by email and choose each person's access: owner, admin, read & write, or read only. New members get in the moment they confirm their email.
Do we need to install anything?+
No. ProxiLegal runs entirely in the browser. Log in and start · nothing to set up on your machines.
